DR MUSA DAMBELE ELECTED A.R.N PRESIDENT
The election of the Association of Radiographers of Nigeria ( A.R.N) was held at K- Class Hotel , FCT Abuja on the 25th November, 2022. The election was keenly contested for and the process was seen to be free and fair.
Dr. Musa Y. Dambele was elected as the President of the Association.

Musa Y. Dambele is the current Sub Dean; Facilities and Environment, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Bayero University Kano. He is the Immediate Past National Secretary of the Association of Radiographers of Nigeria (ARN) and a lecturer at the Nuclear Medicine/ Radiation Protection and Dosimetry Laboratory, Department of Medical Radiography, Bayero University, Kano.
Dr Dambele has Masters Degree in Nuclear Physics, Physics (Radiation Protection) and Nuclear Medicine, and a PhD from the Department of Radiography and Radiological Sciences, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. He also has in his cabinet of qualifications a. Postgraduate Diploma in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Radiotherapy (iv), Postgraduate certificates in Computerised Tomography, Obstetrics and Gynecological Ultrasound, Pattern Recognition, Renal Scintigraphy etc.
He’s a Master Trainer (Consultant Sonographer) in the tripartite program of the Federal Government of Nigeria on Healthymagination Mother and Child Health (2017-2020).
Dr. Musa Yusuf Dambele is a member of the Governing Board of the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN); 2017-till date, and is currently the Chairman, Education Committee of the Governing Board of the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN); 2017-Till date.
He is a Resource person of the Nigerian Institute of Radiation Protection and Research (NIRPR); an organ of the Nigeria Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NNRA), 2015 till date. He belongs to many local and international societies prominent of which are; The Association of Radiographers of Nigeria (ARN), Nigeria Cancer Society, Association of Medical Ultrasound Practitioners of Nigeria, the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists (ISRRT), Nigerian Society of Radiation Protection and the Society of Radiation Protection ,Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologist (SNMT), to mention but few.
He was awarded as the Best Lecturer; College of Health Sciences, Bayero University, Kano (2017), and also as the Most Inspirational Lecturer; Department of Medical Radiography, Bayero University, Kano (2018).
He has written many peer reviewed publications published in reputable journals, and has presented over 25 scientific papers in both local and International conferences. He has supervised over 30 undergraduate and 8 postgraduate research projects, and has attended over 20 international and national conferences.
Dr Musa Y. Dambele is a former Head of Department and the current departmental Postgraduate Coordinator of the Department of Medical Radiography, Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria.
