END SARS HIJACKED

The action of the EndSARS protesters that took place at Amukoko,Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government today was an indication that the struggles of the ENDSARS movement have been hijacked by the hoodlums.

Few hours after the report got to Amukoko that the police station at Orile Iganmu was set on fire, the boys in the area gathered in hundreds and matched towards Amukoko police station with weapons such as cutlass, broken bottles and stones.

They made series of attempts to invade the station but the gun  fire from the station kept them away.

The effort of the police to defend themselves without causality was met with higher pressure from the boys of the area.

The station was set on fire from the back gate.

The cell was forcefully opened and the inmates released. All the tricycles and bicycles in the station were pushed out by the boys to unknown places.

It took the intervention of four soldiers from the OPMESSA to calm the warring youths from unleashing mayhem on the station.

The policemen at the station sustained serious injury and were rescued by the soldiers.

The boys gained access into the station and carted away police uniforms and other properties of the station.

Many other police stations were reported looted and vandalized

As at the press time this evening, the boys were still on the road engaging in sectional fight, looting and vandalizing.

There was a report that Lagoon Hospital at Apapa was set ablaze.

This situation was a clear evidence that if the government remains  in difference to the protest, then many lives and properties will be lost.

If having military on the streets will stop the peculiar mess, let them come. Peace should be restored by all means

Thank God that the Governor of Lagos state has declared 24hours curfew to put the situations under control.

  1. Greetings! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website? I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
