All roads lead to the Airport Hotel Ikeja where the President of Guild of Medical Laboratory Directors (GMLD), Dr (Prince) Elochukwu Adibo bagged a doctorate fellowship from the Institute of Leadership Manpower & Management Development (ILMMD).
Dr Elochukwu Adibo is the M.D/C.E.O of EL-LAB LIMITED, a Medical Diagnostic & Research Center, one of the first 3 private medical laboratories in Nigeria with ISO 15189:2012 International Accreditation.
He is an Internationally Certified Biomedical Scientist with a great wealth of experience from the International and Nigerian Medical Industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Technology in Microbiology, Master of Science in Microbiology (UNILAG).
He acquired further Post -graduate training in Medical Laboratory Science from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), specializing in Histo/Cyto Pathology where he graduated as the best student in his set. He has also undergone several specialty training in Health Safety and Environment in the United Kingdom and Nigeria. He is currently undergoing his PhD Studies.
Elochukwu is a member of the prestigious Institute of Biomedical Science, Royal Microscopic Society both in the UK. He is on the register of the HealthCare Profession Council in the UK. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership of The United States of America.
He is a member of Board of Trustees Society of Cellular Pathology Scientists of Nigeria and a Foundation Fellow of West Africa Postgraduate College of Medical Laboratory Science (Cellular Pathology)
He attends and maintains continuous Professional Development Courses and Management Training in Nigeria and overseas.
He has served as Technical Assistant for Health and Safety in the “Coal to power” team under Professor P.O Okeke; the Special Adviser on Coal Matters to the former Minister of Power Prof. Bath Nnaji.
He has a good number of publications and presentations to his credit.
He is married with children.
